Objectives
In recent years, the government has put much emphasis on promoting people to cultivate a correct concept of a good habit of aquatic sport and recreation. Therefore, the establishment of the department aims to operate in coordination with the future needs of the nation by setting up goals such as developing sport and recreation, etc. Considering the needs of the cultivation of professional instructors, sports recreation managers and athletic players, all these mentioned professional careers improve people’s aquatic recreation life and the standard of sports skills. Thus, the objective of the department is to provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge of the field of leisure, recreation, and tourism.
Furthermore, the expectation of the department is that its graduates will become an important base in order to set up further to develop Taiwan related industries.
